General Information


The 3rd Annual NEWS PI meeting will take place on September 19-21, 2007 at the National Space Science and Technology Center (NSSTC) Marshall Space Flight Center, 320 Sparkman Drive, Huntsville, AL 35805, room 4078. The theme this year will be Science Integration. The meeting will convene each day at approximately 8:00 am and adjourn at approximately 5:00 pm on both Wednesday, the 19th and Thursday, the 20th. Friday will adjourn at 11:00 am.

Note: The NSSTC (National Space Science and Technology Center) facility we are using for the NEWS meeting is not physically located at MSFC. Therefore, NO security clearance is required to enter.

Please complete and send in your registration form as soon as possible, but no later than August 17th. Please note that you can indicate if you wish to contribute a poster on the registration form.

Hotel Accommodations


A block of rooms have been reserved at the following two hotels. Both hotels offer breakfast
Please note block of rooms for both hotels are available from Tuesday, September 18 to check out Friday, September 21 Please contact the hotel directly to make reservations. When making your reservations, reference the "NEWS Conference". The government rate for Huntsville, AL is $71.00/night+tax. Please note the conference rate for each hotel. The cut off date for reservations is Wednesday, September 5th. Reservations made after this date will be on a space and rate availability basis. A credit card number will be required to guarantee your room.

Transportation

The Bevill Conference Center and Hotel offers shuttle services to and from the airport between 5pm and 11PM. The Comfort Suites-Huntsville has no shuttle service.
